Flat tire = hasn’t moved in a while
Some unspecified issue with the transmission that seller was told about = needs total rebuild or replacement
Price: $4,000, because these are hot right now, according to somebody
Includes picture of an ad posted by a delusional idiot in Iowa who wanted $9,000 for a roadworthy example, but no confirmation said car actually sold for that.
Other issues? Probably several, based on how cagey the poster seems to be. I wouldn’t be surprised if the air conditioning “needs a charge”.

Super Crack Pip e, they’re thinking about sentimental value, not retail value.

I’ll go nice price only because that’s what one of these will cost you. Especially one with only 32,000 miles. These old full size wagons are all being bought up and the nice ones cost.

Yeah rougher ones actually move at $ 3,000. 4k for a nice one is decent

Is it really a nice one if it can't move under its own power? For what the trans would cost, I'd figure you can find an almost as nice one cosmetically with higher miles that's already driveable

I highly doubt that it is actually 32,000 miles. Put a 1 in front of that and I think it would be accurate. These hav e xx,xxx.x odometers. The rust on the turn and cruise stalks, steering column cover taped together and lower dash panel separation are indicators of more use than what is being advertised. I am sure it is also why the transmission has issues.
People need to understand that the odometer is incapable of showing anything more than 99,999.9 miles. When i t rolls over it doesn’t mean the previous miles don’t count. I see hundreds of cars on CL like this every year.
